Under the direction of William R. Herzog, Jr., MD, Director of Clinical Research, and Maria E. Gregory, PA-C, Assistant Director of Clinical Research, Cardiovascular Specialists of Central Maryland, P.A. offers patients the opportunity to participate in clinical research trials focused on the furtherance of knowledge of and treatment for cardiovascular disease.  Both Dr. Herzog and Ms. Gregory have extensive experience and expertise in cardiovascular clinical research, and many of our cardiologists participate as sub-investigators on our trials.  Our studies are selected based on clinical relevance and potential benefit to our patients, and our clinical research staff includes highly-qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) in the role of clinical coordinators.
